APHC-AJK demands Kashmir resolution under UN formula
Islamabad, June 22 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Azad Jammu Kashmir Chapter in a meeting held with its Convenor, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in chair, demanded resolution of Kashmir dispute according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people in the light of the UN resolutions.
The participants of the meeting also stressed the inclusion of genuine leadership of Kashmiris in the Pak-India dialogue process. The meeting said the Hurriyet Conference supports the foreign secretaries level talks between Pakistan and India, however, they stressed meaningful talks on the Kashmir dispute.
The meeting also appealed the United Nations and the international human rights organisations to take notice of rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory. The participants of the meeting welcomed the report of Human Rights Council of the United Nations regarding Kashmir, adding that the report had proved that India was committing state terrorism in the territory.
